Danny Wilbur (Middle) and me on the right
My buddy Danny, Wilbur died young. According to his
cousin, Michael Anderson, after leaving the Corps in 1970 Danny fell
ill and succumbed to lymphoma at the age of 27. The cause was Agent
Orange.
Danny is buried in the Rolling Hills Cemetery on
State Highway 92 near Acworth, Georgia. As you can see in the
attached picture of his grave marker, he is a Marine forever.
